‘We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out.’ Ray Bradbury
Good design is design that works for the user. Designing for a single person could easily become the pursuit of an entire lifetime.
Individuals are just such; beings of nuance, personality and deviation. The cleverness of design lies in how something can be made which not only appeals to one, but also thousands of people, who can then exclaim; ‘This works for me!’. I find people fascinating, confusing, and profound. There is a fantastic wisdom to be found in communication. I believe that the more a design is passed and moulded through one person’s insight to another, the more successful it can become.
Outside of design I am passionate about art, animals (especially cats), nature, and travel. (I also thoroughly enjoy Harry Potter; specifically when narrated by Stephen Fry, and accompanied by a cup of tea)
